I teach at intervals throughout the year, mainly running courses locally in Halifax, or online from my own studio. Recordings are available to purchase of some of my live courses: Colour, Oil & Water, Industrial Landscapes, Winter Landscapes, Industrial Abstracts and Berlin Structures.
I love working on personal projects with students/artists at all levels, in 1-1 mentoring sessions for private students. Emphasis is on developing skills and approaches, ideas development, and learning how to reflect and move forwards.
I am an experienced teacher of art of over 20 years, mainly working with college students in the 16-20 age range, and adults of all ages. I taught art in a college for 15 years (until 2019) teaching and course leading the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, teaching A-level Art (and Graphics and Photography some years ago), and life drawing classes.
